Description
Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Foreclosure Paralegal to join our expanding team. Our foreclosure department is fast-paced, technology-driven, and highly collaborative.
This hybrid position offers flexibility to work from home while maintaining an in-office presence as needed for case reviews, team meetings, and client interactions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of Indiana foreclosure procedures and court filings, along with a demonstrated ability to manage timelines and ensure compliance in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Attorney's Calendars, by scheduling deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, etc.
Assist attorneys with hearing preparation and post-judgment activity
Prepare, review, and file foreclosure documents in compliance with Indiana laws and court rules
Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and motions
Manage and maintain foreclosure case files from referral to post-sale
Communicate with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and internal departments
Monitor case deadlines and court dates, ensuring timely filings and responses
Conduct title reviews and assist with title curative tasks when necessary
Track and update case status in case management systems
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, investor, and client guidelines
Position Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in foreclosure law (Indiana preferred)
Familiarity with Indiana judicial foreclosure process and e-filing systems
Paralegal certificate or associate's/bachelor's degree in legal studies preferred
Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal case management software (e.g., LPS, BlackKnight, Tempo, Caseware, or similar)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
