Job Summary

Part of a larger team delivering technology solutions to address business problems and opportunities. Focus on translating specific business requirements into technical solution architectures including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non-functional requirements around supportability, resiliency, security, etc. Translate general business requirements and business trends in architecture patterns and technology ecosystems including data center architecture, application architecture patterns, integration architecture patterns, technology standards, non-functional technical requirements, and computing paradigms.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Contribute to and execute on IT strategy to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Drive the development and maintenance of technology and architecture standards, policies and guidelines.

Coordinate, review and approve projects to ensure that they are compliant with architectural standards, policies and guidelines.

Monitor and analyze industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impact or application for the organization.

Participate in technology strategy decisions and provide consulting within IT teams.

Help leaders and their teams think through the technology, business and operational implications of their technology investment decisions.

Background in technologies supporting Renewables (Windfarm & Solar) & Fossil power generation preferred

Experience in the following concepts: IT Networking, I&C systems,

Experience turning technology portfolio vision into roadmap and positioned well for execution

Designs and delivers solutions to meet advanced business needs

Investigates and clarifies business unit pain points, addresses issues; Develops and communicates solutions with options, leveraging standard reference architectures, design patterns, technology guidelines and standards

Produce all architectural solution and project deliverables without assistance May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Self directed and dependable to produce high quality work in a timely manner.

Contribute to the development and unity of the teams work on being strong technical decision making skills to the team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience: 6 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Compensation Range:

$96,110.00-124,940.00 USD
