A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Junior Designer to join its Design Department at the C.I & S.G Iron Foundry Division in Bhilai. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a passion for mechanical design and a background in casting or heavy engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Create and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings for casting components and layouts

Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility

Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations and technical specifications

Support senior designers in calculations, detailing and project execution

Ensure compliance with internal design standards and engineering protocols

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or related field

1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design (preferably in foundry or heavy industry)

Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent

Basic understanding of casting and production processes

Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical instructions

Effective communication and teamwork skills
