Dakota County Lumber is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented leader to manage our Finance and Shared Services department. This dual-role position combines Human Resources leadership with a strong focus on accounts payable and day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
• Administer benefits, payroll, and performance management systems
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations and conflict resolution
• Support leadership with workforce planning and development
Finance (Accounts Payable Focus)
• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment scheduling
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Supervise shared services functions such as office administration, and vendor management
• Collaborate with external accountants
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000/year
