Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Developer with experience in the insurance industry to support our data transformation and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on converting Power Query code and legacy queries into robust SQL stored procedures, developing complex database logic and Python scripts, and designing views, tables, and calculations that drive underwriting, claims, actuarial, and customer insights.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in an insurance or financial services environment.

• Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning.

• Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.

• Familiarity with Power Query and legacy query formats used in Excel or BI tools.

• Understanding of insurance data structures including policies, claims, premiums, and customer profiles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with insurance analytics platforms or policy administration systems.

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.

• Exposure to SQL Server
