Essential Job Duties:
Takes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and guests. Answers pertinent questions about drink and food items.
Clear all tableware from tables and bars after service.
Completes all assigned cleaning tasks to include glassware and dishes.
Stocks, restocks, and rotate supplies.
Prepares bar snacks.
Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges.
Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned; completes Relias training on time every month.
Must be familiar with emergency procedures and possess the ability to assist with evacuations.
Other Duties:
Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work area.
Operate as a member of a team both within the department and with other departments.
Inform supervisor of equipment and supply needs.
Performs other work duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. POS proficiency preferred. Must possess basic math skills and the ability to communicate effectively using various means; the ability to understand measurements and conversions of cocktails is required. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Current “Techniques of Alcohol Management” certification.
