Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Training Manager to lead internal and external training initiatives for our SavvyWire Pre-Shaped Pressure Guidewire (Structural Heart) and OptoWire Pressure Guidewire (Interventional Cardiology) product lines. This role is critical in ensuring clinical excellence, product proficiency, and market adoption through high-impact training programs for employees, distributors, and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development & Delivery
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal teams (sales, clinical, marketing) and external stakeholders (distributors, physicians, cath lab staff).
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations.
Tailor training content to various audiences, ensuring clinical relevance and product differentiation.
Training Materials & Content Creation
Create and maintain high-quality training materials including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and quick reference guides.
Collaborate with Product Management and all relevant stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and alignment with product strategy.
Online Training Management
Manage and optimize the company’s online training platforms and LMS (Learning Management System).
Track training completion, engagement, and effectiveness using analytics and feedback tools.
Field Support & Education
Provide on-site support during product launches, clinical cases, and distributor onboarding.
Serve as a clinical expert and resource for troubleshooting and advanced product usage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Marketing to align training initiatives with business goals.
Support KOL development and physician education programs.
Continuous Improvement
Monitor industry trends, competitor training strategies, and customer feedback to continuously improve training offerings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical procedures, guidelines, and best practices in structural heart and interventional cardiology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device training, preferably in cardiovascular or structural heart domains.
Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.
Strong understanding of cath lab environments, interventional cardiology procedures, and structural heart interventions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in digital training tools, LMS platforms, and multimedia content creation.
Willingness to travel (up to 50%) domestically and internationally.
Preferred Skills:
Clinical background (e.g., RN, RT, EP tech) or experience in supporting live cases.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Familiarity with SavvyWire and OptoWire technologies or similar guidewire systems.
