The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist has extensive experience and background in applied QA in an Internet, software, or media development environment. The Senior QA Specialist is responsible for fostering a strong relationship with other CM departments and our clients. In addition, the Senior QA Specialist is a key resource on high risk, high exposure projects or new business development that requires specialized QA attention.
You Will:
Monitor and implement improvements to the QA process
Research, recommend and administer QA tools
Ensure sufficient resources, including hardware, software, and personnel, are assigned to the projects over which he/she has QA management responsibility
Occasionally manage and mentor more junior QA Specialists in the execution of their tasks & responsibilities. These include: QA estimating & planning, QA reporting & documentation, walkthroughs and inspections
Execution of integration, white box, functionality, regression, load, performance and acceptance testing
Intervene and escalate issues when they pose a threat to project quality
Ensure test documentation & results are maintained for the projects over which he/she has QA management responsibility
Fulfill all the roles of QA Specialist on projects where he/she is Primary QA
Organize and chair regular QA status update meetings
You Have:
3+ years experience with formal test methods and quality assurance programs in an Internet, software or media development environment
Experience with the development and implementation of Web based systems and products
Experience testing banners (e.g., ad creatives, campaign assets, google studio)
Experience testing emails using tools such as Litmus, Email on Acid, and BrowserStack
Experience, or familiarity with Front End development
Experience providing testing of responsive web applications
Competence with multiple Web browsers and operating systems, and an understanding of their differences and issues
Experience in the preparation and/or execution of formal test cases, scripts and scenarios
Experience managing test cases and bugs using JIRA (or similar platforms)
Knowledge and familiarity with Web Content Accessibility per WCAG 2.0 guidelines
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, track and coordinate multiple tasks
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver against aggressive schedule pressures
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
