Pain Management Physician

Job Title: Interventional Pain Management Physician (PM&R or Anesthesiologist)

Location: Monroe, LA

Job Summary:

Our client in Monroe, LA, is seeking an experienced or newly trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for a PM&R or Anesthesiology-trained physician who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients dealing with chronic pain. Position Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with an hour lunch break and a half-day on Fridays.

Call: On-call rotation with minimal call volume. Nurse Practitioners handle first-line calls, and call-ins are extremely rare.

Start Date: Available immediately

Type of Hire: Contract-to-hire or direct placement.

Responsibilities:

Perform interventional pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator trials, and more.

Evaluate and treat patients with chronic and acute pain, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers, including Nurse Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care.

Maintain accurate patient records and comply with medical policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R or Anesthesiology.

Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine is strongly preferred.

Excellent clinical and procedural skills.

Strong commitment to patient-centered care and improving quality of life.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $450,000 to $550,000 annually (based on experience).
