Electrical Shift Technician
Location: Dublin 8
Duration: Permanent
Shift Role: 4 on, 4 off
Overview of the Role:
The Technician will work as part of the Veolia Operations & Maintenance team in providing Utilities in support of the client's business Tasks include, but are not limited to Plant rounds; preventative maintenance, and plant repairs.
Day to Day of the Role:
Rounds & readings of utilities systems (Water treatment; Waste Water neutralisation; Carbon Dioxide recovery, Nitrogen generation, Compressed air and refrigeration systems
Shift position 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off. 2 thirds days 1 third nights
Review spare parts requirements
Complete on-site and vendor training
Operation of site utilities in support of projects & commissioning
Assist in definition of site safety systems
Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines
Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements
Keep training current in line with client’s requirements, i.e. SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures),.
All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines
Required Skills for the Role:
Electrical engineering degree or diploma desirable
5 years industrial experience in a similar role
Electrical/ Instrumentation Senior Trade, City & Guilds or equivalent
Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical
All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines
