As we embark on a bold new strategy, we’re looking for a Tendering Manager to lead our front-end operations, build a high-performing team, and shape the future of our commercial success.

This is a pivotal leadership role with broad strategic and operational scope. You’ll be responsible for:

Lead pricing strategy and commercial terms for UK tenders.

Negotiate contracts with confidence and precision.

Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing tendering team.

Motivate and monitor performance to ensure excellence and accountability.

Oversee all tendering activities, ensuring alignment with commercial guidelines and company strategy.

Ensure tenders meet customer requirements while protecting Sulzer’s profit margins and delivery capabilities.

Allocate resources across engineering, hydraulics, costing, and advanced functions to optimise performance.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and monthly KPI reports.

What You Bring

We’re seeking a dynamic Tendering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly switch between managing a high volume of quick-turnaround quotes and leading the delivery of complex, high-value bids and tenders.

Experience in the pump industry or a closely related engineering field.

Strong people management skills with experience leading technical and commercial teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Deep understanding of pricing strategies, contract terms, and margin protection.

Ability to act independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
