About the role
Are you passionate about optimizing performance and ensuring safety and quality at scale? Maersk is looking for a Performance and Quality Manager to join our Fredericia site. In this hands-on, on-site role, you will play a central part in driving operational excellence, compliance, and performance - not just locally, but across our Nordic operations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Performance and Quality Manager at Maersk Fredericia, you will:
Ensure operational excellence and quality on site, maintaining full compliance with Maersk risk processes and with regulatory authorities such as the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen) and the Danish Customs Authority (Toldstyrelsen).
Act as the site focal point for all client and customer implementations.
Conduct daily process walks (GEMBA) with the warehouse quality team to ensure Maersk and client quality standards are consistently met according to service level agreements and standard operating procedures.
Drive a timely and high-quality performance management culture onsite, aligned with Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma principles.
Design and maintain performance boards and reports, sharing best practices in line with the Operational Model of Excellence.
Collaborate closely with other Nordic Distribution Centers within Warehousing and Distribution to ensure aligned group reporting and development of performance management.
Lead site objective-setting sessions and performance reviews.
Serve as the site focal point for all systems, processes, and integrations, including the Advanced Management System, Warehouse Management System, Transportation Management System, Power Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Copilot, and automation initiatives.
Drive the Maersk Fredericia Lean Training Academy as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Experienced in Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement principles, and performance management frameworks.
Passionate about safety, quality, and operational excellence, and motivated to make a tangible impact.
