Pay Package

Hourly Total: $72.11/hr

W2 (Taxable): $20.00/hr

Stipend (Non-Taxable): $52.11/hr

Weekly Total Gross: $2,596/week

W2 (Taxable): $720/week

Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,876/week

OT Rate (on W2): $30.00/hr

Hours per Week: 36Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years (including 1 year Hematology/Oncology + 1 year Med-Surg/Oncology)

Licensure: Active OH or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)

Certifications Required:

BLS (AHA)

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification

Preferred Certifications: ACLS

Charting: Epic required

References: 2 professional references (1 manager/leadership required)

Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant / Oncology (14E, 14W, 15W)

Setting: Mixed acuity PCU & Med-Surg Oncology

Patient Census: 33 / 36 beds

Orientation: 72 hours

Float: Yes, to other Med-Surg Oncology units

Scheduling: Self-scheduling, but must be flexible (rotating D/N possible; no block scheduling guaranteed)

Weekend Requirement: Variable based on unit need

Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving)Patient Diagnoses & Treatments

Urgent Fingerprinting Requirement: Must complete Ohio fingerprinting ASAP after booking (strict deadlines, no exceptions).

Return Staff: Eligible after 6 months away. Current OSU employees ineligible.

Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.

RTO: Must be submitted at time of application (max 7 days; no RTO first 2 weeks).
