Graphics Designer

JOB DETAILS: Sido Digital Print Solutions Limited is a digital printing, advertising and publishing services firm based in Bugolobi, Kampala Uganda.

We are now looking for competent persons who possess appropriate skills, knowledge, and right attitude to join and enhance our dynamic and valued workforce.

Post Graphics Designer Reports to Pre-press and Finishing Manager Duties and responsibilities • Design and develop artwork tailored to customer needs of Industrial, commercial and consumer printing of labels, marketing collaterals, albums, publishing etc.

• Develop designs for labels and packaging, marketing collaterals, albums, publishing, etc as per the client needs.

• Creation of printing templates, image processing (Photoshop/Coral Draw). • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.

• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.

• Prepare rough drafts and present your idea.

• Amend final designs to clients’ comments and gain full approval.

• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.

• Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.

Additional Responsibility (Finishing) • Maintain a professional appearance that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

• Comply with health and safety requirements.

• Communicate effectively with sales team and production team; informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that production, sales and customer objectives are met.

• Follow systems, procedures outlined in the company manuals.
