Yard Mechanic

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager for the Oilfield Yard will oversee and manage all day-to-day activities within the yard, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, personnel, and logistics to meet project deadlines. This position is based at our Midland yard and plays a critical role in maintaining and servicing company trucks, trailers, and vehicles to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and yard vehicles

Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner

Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant

Keep accurate maintenance and repair records

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Support other yard operations as needed

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

Weekends as needed

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel trucks and trailers

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently

Must have own basic tools

Valid driver’s license
