The Bulk Plant Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery (PSD) to customers.
The Bulk Plant Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work (SW), and manages risk during service delivery.
This person manages bulk plant facilities to facilitate delivery of prepared products and bulk materials to wellsites, maintaining excellent quality control (QC) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The Bulk Plant Operator assists in training other Operators and trainees.
This person ensures compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards, and reduces environmental impacts through observing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. Requirements:
Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
Blend and mix bulk products for delivery to the wellsite, on time, according to the job program design.
Check and/or calculate quantities of material blends required prior to loading.
Follow Product Line (PL) quality assurance procedures to ensure proper loading.
Coordinate movement of bulk products to and from locations with the PSD and Logistics Team.
Assist in conducting monthly inventory and daily paperwork completion for goods received and shipped.
Label and store additives in a safe manner and ensure the disposal of empty drums and pails.
Maintain bulk plant equipment by performing a daily check while ensuring the bulk plant is kept clean.
Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. Bulk Plant Job Duties:
Load and unload cementing bulk equipment in accordance with procedural standards.
Accurately calculate load-out sheets and operate bulk plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor and maintain all equipment used within the bulk plant.
Learn and apply all relevant processes for properly loading bulk materials, including coordination with the laboratory.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure consistent and timely delivery of products.
Monitor and update inventory levels daily to support operational needs and prevent shortages.
Actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and company policies.
Meet or exceed the minimum developmental standards required for the job classification.
Understand and follow procedures for handling both hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely.
