Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is seeking an Environment & Sustainability Leader / Engineering Coordinator who is passionate about sustainability and operational excellence. In this role, you will champion environmental initiatives across the resort, ensure compliance with sustainability standards, and coordinate engineering functions to support smooth, efficient operations. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.

What you will do:

Oversee day-to-day operations in your area, assisting your supervisor, supporting colleagues during peak times, and ensuring high service standards.

Handle administrative responsibilities including filing, budget records, correspondence, rosters, leave and attendance tracking, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Manage purchasing processes from procurement to vendor coordination, ensuring best quality-price ratios, proper receiving, storeroom control, and timely financial submissions.

Maintain par stock levels, conduct inventories, track consumption (R&M, HLP), and update daily and monthly energy inputs.

Support month-end reporting, highlight variances, and provide timely updates to management.

Lead environmental and sustainability initiatives by setting annual action plans, creating calendars of activities, and conducting monthly follow-ups and reporting in the H.E. Portal.

Monitor daily operations of sustainability systems such as the Bio Digester and STP, and maintain records of waste management, recycling, and utility use.

Organize and lead Green Committee meetings, prepare for statutory audits, and ensure accurate reporting for EarthCheck and other compliance requirements.

Deliver environmental awareness campaigns, provide updates in town hall meetings, and foster a culture of sustainability among employees.

Build positive relationships across departments to support collaboration and ensure smooth operational flow.

Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and warmth in all interactions, serving as a role model and living the Golden Rule.

Perform any additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

Strong skills in English, mathematics, and psychometric abilities.

Oral and written fluency in both Dhivehi and English, with A-Levels or a higher qualification.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering, office administration, or sustainability.

Professional presence with finesse and personal flair

Demonstrated aptitude and ambition for growth and upward mobility.
