Job Overview:Quality Technician III - Columbus, OH We are seeking a Quality Technician III to join our team and support the plant's Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs.
This role is responsible for performing validation and verification activities during the shift and ensuring adherence to the Food Safety Management System in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
Shifts & Schedule: This full-time position will be supporting our 3rd Shift.
Additional flexibility to work overtime.
Key ResponsibilitiesUphold and promote a safety-first culture in all activitiesConduct line audits and review documentation with comprehensive knowledge of production linesApply expert knowledge of quality procedures and plant-wide standardsWork independently with a high degree of initiative and professionalismTrain and mentor junior quality technicians in a collaborative environmentLead and resolve quality issues with sound decision-making, balancing product integrity and financial impactCommunicate effectively with vendors regarding quality concernsAssess substandard batches and determine appropriate corrective actionsLead VMS audits and support QA aspects of plant trials Total Rewards:Pay starting at $25.18 per hour.
