Housekeeper - Vienna, VA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-3 PM or 10 AM-4 PM (approx. 30 hours/week, some flexibility)

Compensation: $30-$38/hour (W2), with additional pay for pet sitting and overnights. Holiday/vacation bonuses offered, PTO

About the Role

A warm and easygoing family in Vienna, VA is seeking a long-term Housekeeper/Household Assistant to help keep their large (8,000 sq. ft.) home running smoothly. The household includes two parents (mid-70s) and their son (40s, an attorney who travels often). The family values reliability, organization, and someone who takes pride in maintaining a well-kept home.

Key Responsibilities

Full-charge housekeeping: bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, making beds, changing linens, laundry

Organization and upkeep (currently the first floor is under renovation; main living areas remain in use)

Light errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, post office runs

Occasional pet sitting and care for the family's affectionate German Shepherd (extra pay provided)

What They're Looking For

Prior housekeeping experience in a private home over 7,000sqft

Dog-friendly (must be comfortable with large, affectionate dogs)

Reliable transportation for errands

Fluent in English; legal authorization to work in the U.S.
