Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 EE Technical Designer 4's for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.

100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• One or more years working with aircraft wiring installation in an electrical capacity

• Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads, develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers. Manages, interprets and develops design requirements. Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration design control. Manages, creates, develops and maintains complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements. Validates complex engineering system design and functionality. Leads the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex. Coordinates activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers. Reviews and assigns work to others. Works under minimal direction. Duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Leads, develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers.

• Manages, interprets and develops design requirements. Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration design control.

• Manages, creates, develops and maintains complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements.

• Validates complex engineering system design and functionality.

• Leads the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex.

• Coordinates activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers.

• Reviews and assigns work to others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• 2 or more years of work experience in EE Technical Design in wiring installation

• Experience working with electrical architectures on a defense program

• Experience troubleshooting complex issues where the root cause may not be immediately clear

• Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time/First Shift

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

9x80 work schedule due to OKC work schedule.

ADDITIONAL:

Overtime: Yes, up to 25%
