CAE Crash Safety Engineer

Are you a skilled CAE Crash Safety Engineer with hands-on experience in LS-Dyna? We're looking for a motivated professional to join our team, focusing on the pre- and post-processing of crash safety simulations. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a collaborative R&D environment and contribute directly to the safety of next-generation vehicles.

What You'll Do

As a CAE Crash Safety Engineer, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to crash safety analysis. You'll work with a variety of pre- and post-processing tools to build, submit, and analyze simulations, then communicate your findings to our engineering teams.

Perform meshing for sheet metal, resin, and solid parts.

Manage model building and assembly, including pre-processing tasks.

Add or replace parts within LS-Dyna, as well as update spot welds and contacts.

Add or update data outputs, such as cross-sections and accelerometers.

Follow established procedures for positioning and moving Toyota Dummy models and seats.

Submit simulations using Toyota's internal processes and software.

Conduct post-processing and analysis of CAE results.

Create comprehensive reports of your work and communicate results to design engineers and team members.

Negotiate countermeasures with TMNA R&D and TMC design engineers to improve crash safety.

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 2 years of crash safety CAE experience with LS-Dyna. Experience with front or side impact analysis is ideal.

Strong analysis capabilities and problem-solving skills.

Experience with pre- and post-processing tools, with proficiency in the following:

Oasys Primer

ANSA or Hypermesh

GNS-mbH Animator

Proficiency with Excel for data management and reporting.
