Job Title:Project Team Specialist
Reports to:Project Manager
Job purpose
We are seeking a Project Team Specialist to perform technical support and project-related tasks. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software for our clients. This will require client interfacing and collaborating across all departments to perform installations and implementations.
Duties and responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and assistance to project- teams
Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs
Collect, analyze, and report on project data, using company tools and software
Assist the company with execution of project activities, including implementation and client communication
Assesses the competence, capabilities, and resources of vendors
Collaborate with design group to change plans if problems arise
Create and maintain project documentation, such as reports, manuals, and specifications
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications
Collaborate with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems
Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on client environments, analyze findings, and deliver actionable reports to improve security posture
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of MS365 security policies, focusing on risk mitigation, user access management, and proactive threat prevention to ensure secure and compliant usage across MIS and client organizations
Provide expertise in responding to and mitigating Business Email Compromise incidents in client Office 365 environments, including the identification of compromised accounts, email restoration, and implementing security measures to prevent future incidents.
Design and implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies and solutions for clients, ensuring secure management of mobile devices and data across their organization
Build, configure, and install Virtual Machine Infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and system integration within project timelines.
Collaborate with clients to review and renew cyber-insurance policies, ensuring alignment with current security posture and coverage requirements
Collaborate with project staff to plan and execute mail migrations across platforms such as Hosted Exchange, Microsoft365, and Google Workspace, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime
Work with Project staff to perform cloud migrations and cloud refresh projects
Perform comprehensive network audits/assessments for potential clients, document technical findings and work closely with the Client Experience and Sales team to deliver insights that inform onboarding strategies
Conduct end-to-end research and development of security stack components, including evaluation of emerging technologies, prototyping, and integration of advanced threat detection and prevention mechanisms
Requirements
Three years minimum of general IT experience
Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively research and learn new technologies independently
Strong documentation skills
Experience client-interfacing on a technical and professional level
Solid communication skills
Ability to understand both the various technical and administrative requirements for successful project completion
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Basic experience with PowerShell scripting
Knowledge of Hypervisor technologies, such as VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft365 and AzureAD administration
Fundamental Knowledge in basic email security protocols (e.g. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC)
Basic Knowledge of Incident Response Phases and Methodology
Experience in the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of network firewalls and switches, with a strong understanding of network security protocols and best practices
Experience with Vulnerability Scanning and reporting tools (e.g. Nessus, OpenVAS, etc.)

The Project Team Specialist position usually works regular business hours but may be required to work additional hours to meet requirements. This position generally works in an office setting environment.
