Construction Project ManagerAbout the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee landscape and public works construction projects from bid award through completion. In this role, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client expectations — all while ensuring efficiency and profitability.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSKey Responsibilities
Manage multiple crews and construction projects in alignment with company goals
Review project plans, specifications, and budgets for accuracy
Set up projects in accounting systems and track financial performance
Lead pre-construction meetings and clearly communicate project scope
Oversee job progress, schedules, materials, and client updates
Manage subcontractors, including scopes, timelines, and payments
Resolve technical or on-site issues to avoid delays
Monitor KPIs and ensure all work meets company standards
Conduct job site inspections and enforce quality control
Approve invoices, change orders, and manage purchase schedules
Supervise, train, and evaluate field staff
Work closely with design/sales teams for accurate project execution
Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
Report project delays or budget concerns to leadershipWhat We're Looking For
Experience: 5+ years of experience in landscape construction project management
Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Knowledge: Understanding of public works, subcontractor management, and construction budgeting
Tools: Familiarity with project management and accounting software
Driver’s License: Valid Class C driver’s license required
Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk on uneven/sloped terrain, lift up to 50 lbs, and conduct on-site inspections
Comfortable sitting for extended periods and using office equipment
Frequent driving between job sites and meetingsAdditional Information
Must sign Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement
Subject to background check and/or drug screening
Introductory period: 90 days
Office-based with regular travel to job sites
