Job Description

Salary: $80-90 an hour

Acts as assistant to clinic Medical Director or Physician physician for all clients at CFTC

Completes initial drug and physical health history and physical examination for all new admissions; annual assessments, as required, on long-term clients; and determines clients appropriateness for admission

Titrates initial methadone dosages and stabilizes client on methadone

Approves or disapproves all take-home requests and all client phase changes

Reviews each clients treatment plan annually or as needed

Remains available on-call 24 hours per day

May consult with counselors in All-Staff meetings and as otherwise needed

Provides day to day medical management of the program under supervision of Medical Director

Leadership Responsibilities

Consults with Medical Director in programmatic or operational concerns

Participates in defining the qualifications of medical personnel to provide medical services
