Job Description
A respected mental health facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a Nurse Practitioner AGNP or FNP or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Preferred) to provide addiction and dual-diagnosis care on a locum tenens basis. This is a flexible part-time opportunity ideal for a provider passionate about supporting adult patients with both substance use and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations (60 minutes each) for adult patients.
Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up visits (1520 minutes each).
Treat dual-diagnosis patients with co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders.
Manage a consistent patient caseload.
Document care in EMR system and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered treatment.Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania.
Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Preferred).
Prescriptive authority required.
13 years of psychiatry, addiction medicine or PCP experience Preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to holistic, compassionate care.
Position Details
Schedule: Flexible 16 hours/week (two 8-hour shifts).
Pay: $50$100 per hour Contract.
Outpatient setting with no call responsibilities.
Credentialing process: 3060 days.Work Location: Telemedicine with potential in office (Patient specific)
