Packaging Line Equipment Technician

Location: kdc/one Groveport Status: Full-Time

Picture your day on our beauty packaging floor: you arrive, review your production orders, and bring high-tech fillers and labelers online. With a steady hand, you dial in settings, verify codes and labels, and keep batches moving safely and smoothly. You log details in SAP, jump into changeovers, and collaborate with maintenance to stay ahead of downtime. When the team needs a coach, you step up—training peers and backing up the Line Lead. What you'll tackle

Run and care for automated packaging equipment, including fillers and labelers

Perform clean-outs, rinses, and rapid changeovers between products

Complete accurate documentation and enter product data in SAP

Partner with maintenance on preventative tasks and minor fixes

Monitor finished batches, verify quality and batch codes, and ensure precise label placement

Model top-tier safety, cleanliness, and organization on the line

Train teammates and provide coverage for the Line Lead when needed What you bring

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Ideally 2+ years in manufacturing or production

Comfort reading SOPs/Work Instructions and working within GMP standards

Clear, effective communication skills

Experience with SAP and HMI interfaces is a plus

Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods around active machinery

Willing to wear PPE (hairnets, safety glasses, closed toe shoes) Why kdc/one
