Therapeutic Focus is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric therapy clinic seeking a highly motivated, passionate, coachable, tech savvy and creative Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Our mission is to alleviate cognitive and developmental deficiencies in children by providing safe, ethical and individualized treatment services that will prepare them to thrive within society.We provide outpatient and school-based therapy to children in Arkansas and Tennessee.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Part-Time to Full-Time, in-person position providing pediatric services within the West Memphis, Arkansas community (Crittenden County).
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
Must hold a current and valid Arkansas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Must practice under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in Arkansas
Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings preferred
Proficient in documentation and basic computer skills
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to understand and accurately document moderately complex information, such as patient records and treatment plans
Effective verbal communication with supervising Occupational Therapist, school staff, families, and other professionals
Ability to follow therapeutic plans under supervision while exercising sound judgment within the scope of practice
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain documentation flow
Comfort with teletherapy tools and virtual collaboration platforms
Key Job Responsibilities
Delivers therapy interventions as outlined in the treatment plan created by the supervising Occupational Therapist
Observes and reports student progress and responses to treatment to the supervising OT
Assists in identifying student-specific learning needs and provides appropriate support under OT direction
Participates in team meetings and collaboration efforts under supervision
Maintains accurate and timely records in compliance with state and school requirements
Demonstrates initiative in pursuing professional growth while maintaining compliance with supervision requirements
