Data Engineer

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Data Engineer.

We need someone to assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data management systems to support business requirements and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.

Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.

Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.

Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.

Create custom software components and analytics applications.

Research and recommend new uses for existing data.

Collaborate with data architects, IT, and data scientists to achieve project goals.

Ensure systems meet company and industry standards for performance, quality, and reliability.

Recommend improvements to data reliability and quality.

Essentials:

4+ years of experience with Snowflake.

Strong knowledge of data engineering practices and business intelligence.

Proficiency with DBT for development and maintenance of data models.

Experience with DataStage.

Technical degree or related work experience.

Experience with non-relational and relational databases (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB).

Desired:

Experience in Encompass, HELOC, or mortgage lending.

Familiarity with SAFe Agile environments.
