We are seeking a skilled and versatile Metal Fabrication Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a wide range of metalworking processes and equipment, with the ability to perform precision work in a fast-paced shop environment. This role requires flexibility, technical skill, and a strong understanding of fabrication trades. Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including shear, press brake, rollers, and bending machinery.

Perform machining operations using lathes, drill presses, and band saws.

Work with CNC equipment for cutting, shaping, and fabricating components.

Perform layout work required to prepare jobs accurately.

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Measure and inspect completed work to ensure precision and adherence to standards.

Maintain safe and efficient use of tools, equipment, and shop resources.

Assist team members in meeting production schedules and quality requirements. Qualifications

Experience in metal fabrication trades and processes.

Skilled in operating shear, press brake, rollers, and bending equipment.

Hands-on experience with lathe, drill press, band saw, and CNC equipment.

Ability to perform layout work with precision.

Ability to perform basic math calculations (pitch, angle, radius, and chords) to support fabrication accuracy.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
