Job Description
Responsibilities:
Perform Certified Welding Inspections per Semcos specifications
Ensure compliance with AWS, API, and ASME codes
Document weld quality and prepare inspection reports
Collaborate with onsite personnel and represent Charps LLC positively
Support project completion to client requirements and timelinesTechnical & Industry Experience:
Minimum 5+ years welding inspection in Oil & Gas pipeline or structural projects.
Proficient in AWS, API, and ASME welding codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, API 1104)
Experience performing visual weld inspections, reviewing WPS/PQR/WPQs
Familiar with NDT methods (VT required; MT/PT preferred)
Strong reporting and documentation skillsCertifictions:
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) active credential required
NDT Level II (VT mandatory, MT/PT preferred)
API 1104 familiarity

Project Duration: Phase 1: 12 weeks (Sept 25 early October 2025)
Phase 2: January March 2026 (if performance in Phase 1 is satisfactory)-(current need)
