Starting pay at $20/hour - Start earning PTO immediately.

The Drum Dryer Technician is responsible for assisting the Formulator Recipe Manager in maximizing drum dryer output and maintaining product specifications. Duties include operation of the drum dryer and related equipment including, but not limited to, process cookers, all downstream process equipment, i.e., milling equipment, material handling equipment, filtration equipment and on-line QC testing equipment.

The position requires the ability to relate QC testing results to the operation of the dryer and related equipment. Aggressively study the variables associated with drum dryer control, such as roll speed, temperature, nip level, dryer blade, nip setting, etc...

The Drum Dryer Technician must have the ability to work under the supervision of the Formulator Recipe Manager, including safety supervision. The Drum Dryer Technician must be capable of working with hand tools and operating a forklift. Must follow all plant safety rules, keep work area clean, and perform other related duties as assigned. Must cooperate with other members of the production crew.
