About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to support high-impact modernisation projects in the public sector.
This role focuses on integrating SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure cloud solutions, IVR systems, and payment processing applications into mission-critical tolling and contact centre environments.
You’ll design, develop, and optimise backend services and APIs to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance digital payment and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect and integrate diverse enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, IVR/telephony, mobile/web apps, and middleware.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using GoLang and .NET .
Build and optimise RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native distributed systems.
Ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance.
Architect solutions that comply with industry regulations and operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other security/regulatory frameworks (SOX, SOC2/3, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues in high-volume processing.
Document all technical work, including designs, test plans, impact analysis, and lessons learned.
Collaborate with business owners, sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Engagement Details:
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (8 hours/day).
Hybrid model: remote with onsite presence in Harrisburg, PA (3–4 days/month).
Interview Process: 1st round Teams, 2nd round onsite.
Contractor role (no paid leave or benefits).
Ideal Candidate
Must-Have Requirements:
8+ years of proven experience as a Senior Developer or similar role.
Expertise in integrating SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, IVR systems, and external systems (contact centre modernisation projects).
5+ years of hands-on experience in Payment Processing Applications development and maintenance.
3+ years of backend development in GoLang.
3+ years of backend development in .NET.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and decentralised microservices architecture.
Hands-on with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Proficiency with ADO, Git, and version control workflows.
Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance optimisation in Go and .NET.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
Experience designing and implementing integrations in tolling projects (e.g., toll collection, traffic management).
Citizenship / Work Status: USC, GC, GC EAD only.
Nice to Haves
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm).
DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering background.
Prior experience with tolling solutions.
Strong knowledge of tolling industry standards and compliance.
IVR systems design/optimisation experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Master’s preferred).
