We are looking for both Full and Part Time Restaurant Servers to join our dynamic team!

Job Summary

A Bartender at Stress Free Moose serves guests by preparing drinks, recommending menu items, maintaining a clean bar area, handling cash/credit transactions, and contributing to a positive, relaxed vibe. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, has good product knowledge, works well under pressure, and enjoys interacting with people.

Pay:

Hourly $7.50 + tips

Servers are averaging a total of $35 - $40 an hour with the combination of their hourly pay plus tips.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly, making them feel welcome.

Take drink orders and provide recommendations (wine, beer, spirits).

Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipe and pub standards.

Maintain accurate knowledge of the beverage menu (current beers on tap, wine list, spirits).

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar: restock supplies, clean glassware, wipe down surfaces.

Check IDs and ensure legal compliance when serving alcohol.

Process payments accurately; manage tabs, cash, credit card transactions.

Assist with bar setup and closing duties: inventory, cleaning, restocking.

Collaborate with the kitchen / wait staff to ensure orders are served promptly.

Monitor guest behavior; intervene or call management when necessary to ensure safe, responsible service.

Promote specials, events, and live entertainment effectively.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Prior bartending experience preferred (especially in a casual pub or restaurant setting).

Knowledge of drinks (beer, wine, spirits) and mixology basics.

Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and remain calm in busy shift periods.

Strong attention to detail, especially in drink preparation and cash handling.

Legal age to serve alcohol; must be able to check IDs.

Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting/moving bar supplies (up to ~50 lbs).

Flexible availability: nights, weekends, and holidays likely required.

Reporting & Supervision:

Reports to: Floor Manager / Restaurant Manager

Works closely with: Hosts, Kitchen Staff, and Other Servers
