We are preparing to launch a brand-new, elevated Caribbean restaurant and bar opening this December. Our vision is to bring the vibrant flavors and traditions of the Caribbean to life in a modern fine dining setting—where authenticity meets innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a restaurant from the ground up and help shape its identity, culture, and culinary excellence.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary program. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining, a deep appreciation for Caribbean flavors, and the creativity to elevate traditional dishes into refined, contemporary experiences. This role will be central in developing the menu, building a strong kitchen team, and ensuring a world-class launch this December.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and execute a distinctive, elevated Caribbean menu for the restaurant’s opening.

Recruit, train, and inspire a new kitchen team to deliver excellence and consistency.

Develop opening kitchen systems, including inventory management, vendor relationships, and food costing.

Collaborate with ownership and management to shape the restaurant’s culinary identity and seasonal offerings.

Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation from day one.

Ensure efficient kitchen operations while upholding fine-dining service expectations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in fine dining or high-end restaurants.

Expertise in Caribbean cuisine with a proven ability to elevate traditional flavors into modern, refined dishes.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire a new team.

Experience in pre-opening restaurant operations is highly desirable.

Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.

Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and passion for excellence.
