Account Executive – Travel

The Account Executive – Travel is responsible for advising clients on the finest travel and leisure options and creating unforgettable travel experiences in a high-touch service environment. This role carries full accountability for the client relationship and overall travel experience. It focuses on curating exceptional journeys by arranging domestic and international travel for discerning clientele, with an emphasis on luxury villas, chalets, and high-end leisure accommodations. Superior attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to meet tight deadlines with multiple requests are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of client travel logistics and handle every travel requirement, including but not limited to luxury villas, private chalets, premier hotels, and exclusive leisure experiences.

Provide unforgettable travel experiences by understanding client preferences and tailoring innovative, extraordinary itineraries.

Promptly and professionally action all tasks related to client travel, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless service from inquiry through final confirmation.

Take full responsibility for each reservation from start to finish, maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure total satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Maintain detailed and accurate client travel profiles in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Develop and sustain excellent customer relationships, delivering the highest standards of personalized service.

Use effective consultative-sales and questioning techniques to close sales, consistently reaching or exceeding revenue targets.

Manage the reservation process through fulfillment across multiple client channels, confidently discussing different currencies and payment options.

Process and reconcile all client and Finance queries through to final settlement.

Consistently demonstrate meticulous attention to detail to prevent costly errors.

Keep management fully informed of potential issues, taking prompt corrective action or recommending solutions.

Build professional relationships with key luxury-travel vendors and support preferred supplier programs.

Investigate and resolve any client concerns while upholding the highest standards of service.

Remain current on luxury travel trends and destination knowledge to deliver exceptional recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in luxury travel sales or account management, with a strong background in high-end leisure accommodations (villas/chalets preferred).

Exceptional customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.

Proficiency with travel reservations and CRM systems is a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of education, equivalent combination of education and directly related experience is required

Preferably 5 years of working knowledge and experience within the Travel Industry

Must have Google Suite experience and be highly proficient with using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
