Job Description

Confidential Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Accountant. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations. If you are skilled in QuickBooks, have a strong background in ledger accounting, and possess excellent communication and organizational abilities, we encourage you to apply. Role will need up to 1 day/week in office.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks software.

- Conduct ledger accounting, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.

- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

- Manage collections and engage with clients to facilitate timely payments.

- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients regarding billing and payment inquiries.

- Resolve any issues with invoices, orders, or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.

- Manage the interaction between the Leaflink ordering platform and Quickbooks.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

- Perform monthly reconciliation between general ledger and METRC.

- Keep abreast of accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.

- Proficient in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

- Solid understanding of ledger accounting principles and practices.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to adapt and adjust to changes in the work scope.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.

- Knowledge of applicable accounting laws, regulations, and standards.

- Previous experience with Leaflink is a plus.
