Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Bay Agency Insurance is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team! As a CSR, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing top-notch service and helping them navigate their insurance needs. If you have a passion for helping people and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you. This is a Hybrid work from position where you will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.

What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.

Assist clients with policy questions, billing issues, claims status, and policy changes.

Educate clients on their existing coverage and identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional products.

Process policy endorsements, renewals, and new business applications accurately.

Maintain meticulous client records in our agency management system in AMS 360

Collaborate with agents and insurance carriers to resolve complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, company products, and service offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in a customer service or insurance role is a plus.

A Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.

A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
