Volt is immediately hiring a Material Handler II – Inventory & Warehouse Support in WESTFORD, Massachusetts 01886
As a Material Handler II – Inventory & Warehouse Support you will:
Responsible for ensuring all inventory is accurately maintained and delivered to the required areas in a timely manner.
Perform material movements both physically and systematically.
Generate work orders from the ERP system.
Perform work order receipts in the ERP system.
Conduct cycle counting as required.
Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment.
Assist with the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly as needed.
Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Handle chemicals safely (training provided); chemicals primarily include isopropyl alcohol and sulfuric acid, neither of which is considered high hazard.
Work overtime as required to support business needs.
Support all company initiatives, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, and task assignments.
Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, etc.)
Schedule:
1st Shift : 05:00 AM to 03:30 PM Monday to Thursday
This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.

Pay Rate: $21.85 - $22.85/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
