Material Handler

Job Description

Position: Material Handler (OTE)

Position Overview:

Responsible for maintaining the efficient and accurate flow of material from the receiving area to the production floor.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

Deliver materials to the production floor

Assist material control with receiving and organizing materials

Identify and verify quantities of all incoming material

General upkeep of production and warehouse areas

Unload and verify incoming UPS/FedEx shipments

Qualifications & Experience:

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Awareness of safety procedures and consistent demonstration of safe work habits

Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence

Effective communicator, able to provide quality service to internal customers

Ability to adapt to changing conditions and multitask effectively

Punctual, reliable, and results-oriented

Basic computer knowledge (Word and Excel a plus)

Warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 51 pounds

Education:

High school diploma or GED required

2+ years of relevant experience
