Title: Demand Planner

Location: Orange County, CA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Demand Planner to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting customer demand, developing accurate production plans, and collaborating across departments to ensure timely delivery of products. This role is critical to balancing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and supporting efficient production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.

Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with operational capacity and customer requirements.

Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting processes.

Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while ensuring product availability.

Identify demand variability and communicate potential risks and mitigation strategies to relevant stakeholders.

Utilize ERP/MRP systems to support demand planning and inventory management activities.

Prepare and present regular reports on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory status.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in demand planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP/MRP systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
