Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role requires strategic leadership and a commitment to ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across all departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven track record of driving operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor department managers to achieve production goals while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

• Develop and implement both short-term and long-term operational strategies to drive efficiency and meet organizational objectives.

• Monitor and report on operating costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

• Oversee multiple departments, including operations, maintenance, scheduling, and warehouse, ensuring effective coordination and productivity.

• Manage facility production goals and key performance indicators, focusing on areas such as quality, yield, safety, and efficiency.

• Identify and execute capital investment projects and facility improvement initiatives.

• Serve as the primary driver for plant metrics and operational results, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Step in to fulfill responsibilities of key management roles, such as Operations Manager or Quality Manager, when necessary.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment on policy deployment, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Experience managing operations in a food safety or related manufacturing environment.

• Strong background in working with Quality Assurance, Accounting, Scheduling, and Human Resources.

• Ability to manage operational expenses and budgets effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation.

• Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage short-term, mid-term, and long-term objectives.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
