We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Santa Ana, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting month-end closing activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining compliance and delivering reliable financial insights.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to support financial integrity.

• Create and review journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and align financial transactions.

• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and budgeting processes.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations.

• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.• Proven experience in cost accounting or general accounting roles.

• Strong understanding of month-end close and general ledger processes.

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.

• Expertise in account and bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
