HVAC Journeyman Service Technician

Job Description

Our client, a leading HVAC Manufacturer's Rep firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Journeyman with 10+ years of experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned technician with strong troubleshooting and maintenance expertise who is eager to expand their skills with factory training and become an expert in specialized HVAC equipment.Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, ERVs, and MAUs.

VRV/VRF experience is a plus but not required.

Perform preventive maintenance in commercial and professional environments.

Complete factory training (in-house and out-of-state travel required) and become a factory-certified technician for multiple manufacturers.

Read and interpret electrical and refrigeration schematics.

Travel frequently between Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington (95% travel).

Collaborate with local mechanical contractors, providing on-site technical support and guidance as needed.

Mentor and support junior technicians through on-the-job training and knowledge sharing.

Work independently while contributing to a high-performing team environment.Schedule:

Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

No on-call, after-hours, or weekend work except in absolute emergencies.Tools & Support:

Company vehicle provided (may be taken home or left at the office).

Fully stocked truck with 95% of tools provided.Requirements:

10+ years of commercial HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance experience.

Strong ability to read and understand electrical and refrigeration schematics.

Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.

Ability to relocate to Boise, ID (required before start).Benefits:
