Yard Mechanic

Job Overview:The Operations Manager for the Oilfield Yard will oversee and manage all day-to-day activities within the yard, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, personnel, and logistics to meet project deadlines.

This position is based at our Midland yard and plays a critical role in maintaining and servicing company trucks, trailers, and vehicles to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and yard vehiclesDiagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely mannerConduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliantKeep accurate maintenance and repair recordsMaintain a clean and organized work areaSupport other yard operations as needed Schedule:Monday through FridayWeekends as needed Qualifications:Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel trucks and trailersStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage tasks efficientlyMust have own basic toolsValid driver’s license Why Join Edge Specialty Services?
