Plant Nurse
Description:
nProvide medical care ranging from minor incidents to acting as a first responder.
\nSupport and assist Safety Managers in coordinating and managing health services.
\nMaintain workers compensation information for claims, and help schedule doctor visits and transportation.\nCoordinate and perform pre-employment physicals and drug testing (post-offer, accident, and random).\nDevelop and implement employee health and wellness programs such as health assessments, immunization programs, medical care, wellness education, counseling, etc.\nMaintain active and positive ongoing relationship with local occupational health clinic.\nManage hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection and ergonomics programs including development and delivery of employee training.\nAll other relevant duties to the job.\n\nCurrent Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.\nCertified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain.\nPrior occupational health experience within a similar environment preferred.\nCertified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain.\nAbility to ensure confidentiality of employee health information.\nKnowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations.\nExcellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.\n
