Bus Monitors - All Schools
Monitors work under the direction of behavioral specialists and will be required to independently supervise students, collect data about student issues and follow through on behavior strategies. Excellent communication skills required. Must be reliable and have a positive attitude. All other experience and/or qualifications will be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate who loves guiding and working with groups of children while learning and honing relevant strategies.
Assignments:
Assignments can be flexible based upon internal candidates school hours. Assignments are within Plainville or to and from Hartford for Open Choice transportation.
Hours vary based on bus route and the monitors' school schedule (for internal candidates). Assigments can be as short as one-half hour or as long as 2 hours each day.
Compensation:
Paraprofssional Internal Candidate- Current Rate of Pay
RBT/Tutor Candidate - $23.47
Lunch Monitor Candidate - $19.97
External candidates - $16.35 to $19.97 depending on skills and experience
Note: Total hours cannot exceed 8 hours per day (internal candidates)
