Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

A prominent Aerospace & Automotive company in Macomb County, MI is seeking a well-rounded and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and reliability of our production equipment and facility. This role requires hands-on experience with hydraulic and mechanical presses, CNC machinery, and electrical systems. Experience with robotics and laser equipment is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

Repair and maintain hydraulic and mechanical presses

Work with electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V

Maintain, service, and troubleshoot CNC mills

Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed

Assist in the setup and maintenance of robotic and laser systems (preferred)

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in a maintenance technician or related role

Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Experience with CNC machines, 120–480V electrical systems, and industrial controls

Familiarity with robotic systems and laser machinery is a plus

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Physically able to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods
