Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a Project Controls Analyst who will be responsible for providing a broad range of project and program duties to integrate process, track, analyze, and report data concerning project management, project controls, budget formulation and execution, and financial management duties. Project controls analysts maintain financial data, support task, control account and project managers, generate schedules, and provide checks and balances throughout the life of the project.

Hiring Range: $59,000.00-$115,000.00 per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel 10% or less of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support monthly cost reporting processes including preparation of cost accruals.
Maintain work breakdown structure (WBS).
Update P6 schedules with earned value status.
Calculate and maintain cost forecasts in P6.
Maintain resource loaded baseline and working schedules in Primaveral P6.
Apply financial terminology, measures, financial data analysis concepts, and principles.
Monitor commitments, incurred, and actual costs.
Ability to create, analyze and interpret budget, cost, and perform cost and schedule variance analysis.
Earned value management reporting.
Support estimate and budget development including IDIQ proposals and annual budget submittals.
Perform ad-hoc project analysis and support.
Develop and prepare Task Order Change (TOC) Proposals.
Assist the project manager with the administration of annual configuration control procedures and process in accordance with client requirements.
Participates in meetings, conference calls, conferences, and similar forums, is available to respond to informal requests for information, and provides miscellaneous special project assistance.
Create ad hoc reports as requested and customized to client needs.
Complete all required training on time.
Work closely with team to develop project improvement strategies, tools, processes and procedures to ensure integrity of project controls data, schedules, and compliance with process and procedures.

Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Experience in lieu of education considered.
10 years of relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Driver's License
PMP preferred
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong financial skills are essential.
Intuitive knowledge of financial principles.
Experience in Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools, cost processors, EVMS reporting, and other financial tools.
strong background in financial budgeting and reporting, scope decomposition, and development of logic driven, integrated, resource loaded schedules.
Proficient in administering project controls processes using EVMS system and procedures for controlling large-scale project.
Ability to create, analyze, and interpret P6 schedules.
Financial analysis, Excel formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
