Job Summary We are looking for a strategic and visionary Merchandising Strategy Specialist to develop and monitor our merchandising strategy to be executed properly across both offline and online stores.

This role will involve building an overarching strategy that aligns with HQ’s goals while executing plans that drive business growth across both local and K-beauty portfolios.

The successful candidate will work closely with local and K-beauty merchandisers, ensuring that product offerings are well-balanced, impactful, and aligned with our long-term vision.

In addition, the Merchandising Strategy S will be responsible for identifying new growth drivers and initiating trends to reach new customer segments.

What You’ll Do • Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy for both offline and online stores, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals and HQ’s global strategy.

• Assist in building a balanced and cohesive portfolio by managing local and K-beauty brands, ensuring that each product offering is aligned with our brand values and market positioning.

• Create and manage Planogram (POG), ensuring a visually appealing and consistent product assortment across channels.

• Coordinate product orders, ensuring proper timing and alignment with internal teams to streamline product delivery and inventory management.

• Develop strategic promotional and educational materials to equip sales teams with the necessary tools to support product launches and key campaigns.

• Ensure the integration of new trends, customer insights, and emerging product categories into the merchandising strategy to drive future growth.

• Oversee the store setup process, from fixtures to product placement, ensuring seamless execution that aligns with the company’s global and local strategies.

• Coordinate with brand partners on management of store fixtures, ensuring all necessary equipment and visual merchandising elements are in place for a successful store launch.

• Support the execution of store-specific strategies, from product assortments to localized service offerings, to create an engaging and unique customer experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HQ and merchandisers, to ensure successful store openings and smooth operations from day one.

• Align new store setups with the overarching portfolio strategy to ensure consistency and brand cohesion across all locations.

• Regularly track and analyze store sales performance by location, identifying trends and insights to optimize the product assortment and promotional strategies.

• Develop and maintain detailed performance reports that provide actionable insights for store managers and HQ, contributing to data-driven decision-making.

• Track and assess the success of merchandising strategies, promotional campaigns, and product offerings, making recommendations for future initiatives.

• Use competitive analysis and market research to refine the product mix, ensuring that our portfolio remains relevant, fresh, and aligned with market demands.

• Conduct regular performance reviews, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure continuous growth and improved sales performance across channels.

• Identify and cultivate external partnerships that will help drive business expansion and improve performance, ensuring that collaborations align with overall strategic objectives.

• Conduct comprehensive market research to understand competitor offerings, emerging trends, and customer preferences.

• Use insights to guide merchandising decisions and ensure the brand’s product offerings are competitive and relevant to the local market.

Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, retail strategy, or a similar role, with a strong focus on both offline and online store management.

• Proven experience in managing product portfolios, aligning strategies with HQ goals, and driving business growth across both local and global markets.

• Strong understanding of store opening processes, from product planning to operational execution, ensuring smooth and successful store launches.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to optimize strategies and drive business performance.

• Experience in creating long-term strategic plans and identifying emerging growth drivers in the retail industry.

• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams to drive execution and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Ability to track and analyze sales performance, using insights to inform future strategies and adjustments.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships that drive business growth and enhance overall performance.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies and data insights to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications • Background in Strategy and/or Beauty industry is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is desirable but not required.
