Part-Time Onsite- Publishing Administration Coordinator needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Franklin, TN.
The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:
At least one (1) year of prior administrative experience working in the music industry, preferably in music publishing
Experience in a role that required exposure to the full range of music publishing administration
Experience with Music Maestro (music publishing administration software)
Ability to go onsite and work 20-29 hours per week.
Pay Range: $15 - $16/hr; depending on experience What You'll Be Doing:
Responsible for coordinating song turn ins with writers and admin clients, assisting with advance payments, tracking new releases, and ensuring the best client services experience possible.
Process payments to writer for demo expenses, writer advances, translation invoice payments, copyright registration funding account, etc.
Work through the New and Current Common Works Registration (CWR) Acknowledgement files for societies including ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, CMRRA, SOCAN, Harry Fox and Music Mark.
Work through the CWR Acknowledgement file backlog for various societies
Acquire and assemble all required data, complete required forms, in order to get New Songs set-up in our systems in a timely manner.
Collect metadata including International Standard Recording Codes (ISRCs) and all necessary recording info for new releases, ensuring songs are ready to be registered
Watch new release spreadsheet to collect dates for team to work towards property set-up.
Watch Radio schedule closely to identify ads to radio. - ensuring that these songs are properly registered with the correct metadata What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Strong analytical skills and proven experience with managing lots of data with a keen attention to detail
